Before that, she spent 25 years working as a school librarian after earning master\u2019s degrees from New York University and Columbia University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After retiring in 1985, she finally decided to pursue the acting dream she had carried since childhood. She went on to build a career that lasted for decades, taking on comedic and memorable roles across television and film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even into her 90s, Levine continued working. Her recent credits included <em>Thelma<\/em>, <em>The Upshaws<\/em> and <em>The Cure<\/em>, and according to her manager, she was still auditioning as recently as June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond acting, Levine dedicated herself to helping aspiring performers.
