When my daughter and I moved into my late father\u2019s lake house, I thought we had finally found peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then we met Valerie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She immediately complained about my old Chevrolet parked in my own driveway because it was \u201cruining her view of the lake.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Things quickly got worse. She even told me that people like us didn\u2019t belong in her wealthy neighborhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She had overheard Valerie telling the concrete workers that my driveway was hers and had told Harold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Years of documentation about Valerie\u2019s property violations were finally being brought to light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The concrete pour was stopped, and the company agreed to pay for the damage to my car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
