Kayla started walking around the house wearing only a towel whenever Andrew was home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kayla looked at me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou agree with him?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her expression changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou’re choosing him over your own sister?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis isn’t about choosing him. It’s about respect.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then Kayla said something that stopped both of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou’re acting like I was trying to steal your husband.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I looked at her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBecause after Mark left me, I started feeling invisible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The anger in the room suddenly became more complicated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kayla wasn’t excused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But now I understood what was underneath her behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
