His daughter, Renata Macfie, confirmed his passing in a heartfelt social media tribute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In her emotional message, Macfie shared how deeply she would miss her father, remembering their drives along Mulholland and their Starbucks outings. She also recalled his jokes and the special memories they shared, expressing gratitude for having him as her dad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The official cause of death had not been publicly confirmed in the reports, and the circumstances remained under investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Morgan began his acting career in the early 1990s, appearing in television productions before landing the role that made him recognizable to horror audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Wes Craven\u2019s 1996 horror classic <em>Scream<\/em>, Morgan played Hank Loomis, the father of Billy Loomis, portrayed by Skeet Ulrich. Although his role was relatively small, Hank\u2019s troubled family history became an important part of the film\u2019s central mystery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The character returned briefly in <em>Scream 3<\/em> in 2000, appearing in a flashback connected to the events surrounding Sidney Prescott and her family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond the <em>Scream<\/em> franchise, Morgan appeared in the 1997 film <em>Metro<\/em> and contributed his voice to the video game <em>The Last Express<\/em>.
