The documentary features emotional accounts from people who knew Perry best, including longtime friends Roger Castillo and David Pressman, and several other contributors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It also features his sister, Mia Perry Bowick. She participated in the documentary to make sure that people got to see a different side of Matthew. Bowick shared insights into Matthew Perry\u2019s fight to get sober, revealing that her brother spent $7 million on \u201ctrying to get sober.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mia also shared details about Matthew Perry\u2019s close bond with his Friends co-stars. Bowick explained that Perry saw a lot of himself in his Friends character. She said they were very similar, as both used humor to hide how unhappy they were.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
