In the mid-2000s, she was injected with substances including cement, superglue, and tire sealant by an unlicensed practitioner. Years later, after appearing on the television show Botched, she received medical treatment that helped restore her appearance and confidence. Today, 21 years after the nightmare began, Rajee has transformed her painful experience into a mission to educate and help others.

The Story Behind “Cement Face”

Rajee Narinesingh was born on April 7, 1967, in New York and grew up in Philadelphia. From an early age, she struggled to understand her identity and eventually began her journey as a transgender woman.

Wanting to change her appearance, Rajee considered cosmetic procedures but couldn’t afford legitimate treatments. Desperate for affordable alternatives, she turned to the black market.

In the mid-2000s, she met Oneal Ron Morris, a self-proclaimed cosmetic practitioner who later became known as the “toxic tush doctor.”

Between 2007 and 2010, Rajee reportedly received ten injections containing dangerous substances, including cement and superglue.

Initially, she believed everything was going well. But eventually, hard lumps began appearing beneath her skin, particularly around her cheeks, lips, and chin.

Her appearance changed dramatically, and she became so ashamed that she was afraid to leave her home.

“I felt like a monster,” she once recalled.

Her Road to Recovery

In 2012, Rajee began receiving treatment from Dr. John Martin in Florida, who used specialized injections and laser therapy to soften the hardened substances.

Her biggest breakthrough came in 2016 when she appeared on the reality television show Botched.

Surgeons Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif carefully developed a treatment plan to improve her condition while avoiding unnecessary risks.

Over seven weeks, she underwent four procedures and received additional treatments to reduce the damage caused by the illegal injections.

Although some complications remained, Rajee gradually regained her confidence.

She later explained that being able to look in the mirror and feel comfortable with herself again had changed her life.

Where Is Rajee Narinesingh Today?

Today, Rajee has turned her painful experience into an opportunity to help others.

She has become an activist, actress, author, and public speaker, appearing on numerous television programs and sharing her story around the world.

She also advocates for transgender rights, HIV awareness, and education about the dangers of illegal cosmetic procedures.

Rather than hiding from her past, she uses her experience to warn others against putting their health in the hands of unqualified practitioners.

Her message is simple: no cosmetic procedure is worth risking your life.

What began as one of the most difficult experiences of her life eventually became the foundation of her advocacy work.

And 21 years later, Rajee Narinesingh is showing the world that her story is about much more than her appearance.

Rajee Narinesingh became known as “Cement Face” after a dangerous black-market cosmetic procedure left her face severely disfigured.
