The incident, which began on a school bus and escalated after students disembarked near West\u2019s home, has left a family shattered and a school district defending its safety protocols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to witness accounts and local reports, the sequence of events began with a verbal argument between West and another female student during their afternoon commute. The dispute reportedly turned physical once the students exited the bus. Footage of the encounter, which has since been obtained by several U.S. media outlets, purportedly shows the two girls engaged in a fight in the street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conflict had reportedly concluded, and West was walking toward her residence when she suddenly collapsed. It was a friend who witnessed the collapse and ran to West\u2019s home to alert her parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
