Family Shares Bindi Irwin Update After She Misses Steve Irwin Celebration

Bindi Irwin was noticeably absent from this year’s Steve Irwin Gala in Las Vegas, but her family says she is doing much better.

Terri Irwin and Robert Irwin attended the annual event without Bindi, explaining that she stayed closer to home while continuing to recover from her ongoing battle with endometriosis.

“Bindi is doing so much better now,” Terri said, adding that extensive travel can still be difficult for her. She plans to return for next year’s celebration.

Robert also reassured fans that his sister is still deeply involved in the family’s conservation work at Australia Zoo.

“She’s with us in spirit, for sure,” he said.

Bindi has been open about the years of pain she experienced before receiving an endometriosis diagnosis. She revealed that doctors have removed more than 50 lesions from her body over the past three years, along with treating other complications.

For years, she said, she struggled with severe symptoms and was repeatedly told they were simply “part of being a woman.”

Her diagnosis and treatment eventually changed her quality of life, allowing her to spend more time with her daughter, Grace, and continue the conservation mission her family shares.

Although Bindi wasn’t physically at the gala this year, her family made it clear that she remains an important part of both the event and Steve Irwin’s lasting legacy.
