Disney Star Carla Jeffery Dies at Just 33

Actress Carla Jeffery, beloved by Disney Channel fans for playing cheerful cheerleader Bree in the Zombies franchise, has died at just 33 years old.

Jeffery passed away on September 1, according to her management company. No cause of death has been announced.

She became a familiar face to a generation of Disney viewers, appearing in Zombies, Zombies 2, Zombies 3, and later lending her voice to Zombies: The Re-Animated Series.

But her acting journey began much earlier. She started professionally at just 12 years old and went on to appear in shows including Curb Your Enthusiasm, Southland, American Vandal, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Her agency remembered her for her infectious smile, laughter, talent, and the light she brought wherever she went.

Carla was also the twin sister of fellow actor Carlon Jeffery.

She leaves behind a career that spanned more than two decades and countless fans who grew up watching her on screen. đź’”
