I gave up my dream of going to college after my mom suddenly lost the ability to walk.

I worked several jobs, helped her with everything, and spent nearly a year believing she still couldn’t manage on her own.

Then one morning, my neighbor stopped me.

“Do you know what your mom does after you leave for work?”

She showed me security footage.
