Peter Byrne, Voice of Naked Eyes, Dies at 74

Peter Byrne, founding member and lead singer of Naked Eyes, has died at 74 following a brief illness.

He became widely known for the band’s international hits “Always Something There to Remind Me” and “Promises, Promises.”

Byrne continued making music and performing for more than five decades. He is survived by his children and siblings.

His family remembered him as a passionate musician, devoted husband and father, and a deeply caring person.
