‘Days of Our Lives’ and ‘General Hospital’ Actor Dies at 62 💔

The soap opera world is mourning the loss of Robert Kelker-Kelly, the actor best known for playing Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives.
Kelker-Kelly died at the age of 62 after police were called to his Missouri home following a report of chest pain. Officers found him unconscious and not breathing and attempted to save him, but sadly, he could not be revived.
His cause of death has not yet been publicly announced.
Born in Wichita, Kansas, Kelker-Kelly began his acting career in 1987 and went on to appear in more than 400 episodes across various television productions.
In 1992, he took over the iconic role of Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives. Replacing Peter Reckell was no easy task, but Kelker-Kelly successfully made the character his own and won over viewers.
He later joined Port Charles and General Hospital, where he portrayed the villainous Stavros Cassadine. He returned to General Hospital in 2013, with his final onscreen appearance coming the following year.
His talent was recognized with an Outstanding Lead Actor award at the 1994 Soap Opera Digest Awards, and he was also named part of the magazine’s Hottest Soap Couple with Lisa Rinna.
Away from acting, Kelker-Kelly was also a professional pilot.
He leaves behind a career that made him a familiar and memorable face to generations of soap opera fans.
