He Built a Concrete Wall Around His Neighbor’s Mercedes for Parking on His Lawn — But Karma Hit Them Both

For six months, Richard repeatedly parked his expensive Mercedes on Robert’s front lawn, despite being asked countless times to stop. He laughed at Robert’s complaints and acted as though the property belonged to him.

Finally, Robert lost his patience. With help from a friend, he built a concrete barrier around the Mercedes, trapping it on his lawn.

Richard was furious. Determined to free his car without asking Robert for help, he hired a crane operator to lift it over the wall.

But the operator warned that the angle was dangerous. Richard insisted they continue.

During the lift, the Mercedes began swinging out of control and crashed into Robert’s porch, destroying the railing and damaging a support post. The repair estimate exceeded $14,000, and suddenly Robert realized his revenge had created an expensive problem of its own.

After the accident, both men began to reconsider their actions. Richard finally admitted he had been disrespectful and apologized for repeatedly parking on Robert’s property. Robert also acknowledged that building the wall had been a dangerous decision.

Eventually, they reached an agreement. Richard would pay for the lawn damage, Robert would arrange to remove the barriers, and they would work with their insurers to address the accident-related repairs.

The Mercedes was finally removed, the porch was repaired, and the neighbors agreed to respect each other’s property.

Robert got his lawn back, but the experience taught him something he would never forget: Being right doesn’t mean every way of proving it is right.

Sometimes karma doesn’t choose sides. It simply makes sure everyone learns a lesson.
