πŸ’” New Mom, 32, Randomly Killed in Times Square β€” Her Family Releases Heartbreaking Statement

Erin Piacenti was just 32 years old, a loving new mother and a vice president at Bank of America. On August 31, her life was tragically cut short in the middle of New York City’s Times Square.

Erin was reportedly returning to work after maternity leave when she was randomly attacked and stabbed. She had only recently welcomed her 5-month-old daughter, Madison, and was beginning a new chapter of her life with her husband, Frank.

The couple had married in 2024 and had recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary. They had also just returned from a family road trip before the devastating attack.

Her family described Erin as a devoted daughter, sister, wife, friend, and incredibly loving mother. They said becoming a mother had been one of her lifelong dreams.

In a heartbreaking statement, her loved ones said Erin’s life should not be defined by the way she died, but by the way she lived β€” with warmth, intelligence, love, and devotion to the people around her.

The attack reportedly began when a woman approached another person and stabbed him before continuing through Times Square. The 68-year-old victim survived. Erin was then attacked and tragically died from her injuries.

The suspect was fatally shot by police at the scene.

Erin’s family is now facing an unimaginable loss β€” just as their family was beginning a beautiful new chapter with their baby daughter.

A young mother who had so much life ahead of her is now being remembered by those who loved her most. ❀️
