Actor Dean Cain, best known for playing Superman in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, made a decision that surprised many people: he put raising his son ahead of his acting career.

Cain became a father in 2000 when his son Christopher was born. After a difficult custody battle, Cain was awarded sole custody in 2011.
