Stevie Nicks’ Family Announces Heartbreaking Loss

Stevie Nicks and her family are mourning the loss of her younger brother, Christopher Aaron Nicks, who died September 4 at age 72 after a private battle with cancer.
Christopher’s daughter, Nixi Parkinson Nicks, shared the heartbreaking news, revealing that her father had been living with cancer for about two and a half years and chose to keep his illness private.
She shared an emotional photo holding her father’s hand as she said goodbye, remembering him as someone who touched many lives.
Mick Fleetwood also paid tribute to Christopher, recalling his “zest for life” and saying he would be deeply missed by the Fleetwood Mac family.
As of September 5, Stevie had not publicly commented on her brother’s death.
Christopher was Stevie’s only sibling, making the loss especially personal for the legendary singer.
Stevie Nicks, now 78, has spent more than five decades in music as a member of Fleetwood Mac and a hugely successful solo artist. She recently performed with Olivia Rodrigo at the Daisy Chain Fields festival, singing “Landslide.”
❤️ Our thoughts are with Stevie Nicks and the entire family during this heartbreaking time.
