Youngest 9/11 Victim Remembered 25 Years Later — Her Father’s Final Call Still Haunts His Family 💔

Christine Lee Hanson was just 2½ years old when she boarded a plane with her parents for what was supposed to be an exciting family vacation.

It was her first time flying.

Instead, Christine became the youngest victim of the September 11 attacks.

Her father, Peter Hanson, made a heartbreaking call to his own father from the hijacked plane, telling him they had been taken over. During another call, Peter tried to reassure his father before the situation became even more terrifying.

The call ended abruptly.

Minutes later, Flight 175 crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center. Peter, his wife Sue, and little Christine were all killed.

Today, Christine is remembered not only as a victim, but as a beloved little girl who loved playground trips, helping her father in the garden, and her stuffed Peter Rabbit.

Her family continues to remember the joyful child she was — a little girl whose life was tragically cut short.

25 years later, her story is still remembered. 🕊️🇺🇸
