A man is traveling along a rural highway when something in a nearby field catches his attention: a farmer behaving obscenely with a sheep. Disgusted, he keeps driving, trying to put the sight behind him.

A minute later, though, indignation gets the better of him. He hits the brakes. “That was horrible,” he says. “I’m going to give that man a piece of my mind!” He turns around and heads back toward the farm.

By the time he reaches the farmhouse, he has a stern lecture ready. He marches onto the porch and pounds on the door, expecting the farmer to appear. Instead, a little boy answers.

The visitor pauses, immediately softening his voice; whatever his complaint, there is no reason to frighten a child. “Oh, hi there. Is your father home?” The boy nods. “Sure, one second.” Then he turns toward the house and calls, “Hey, daaaaaahd!”
