A Husband In His Back Yard Is Trying To Fly A Kite.

One shout from the kitchen turned a backyard struggle into a marital showdown.
As a husband fought to keep his kite airborne, his wife watched every crash, convinced she knew exactly what he was missing. But when she finally called out her advice, he answered with a reminder from the night before that gave her words an different twis…
A husband was out in his backyard, determined to get a kite into the sky. He tossed it upward, watched the breeze catch it for a few promising seconds, then saw it tumble back onto the grass. Undeterred, he tried again. And again.
From the kitchen window, his wife followed the unsuccessful launches, muttering to herself about how men apparently needed instructions for everything—even something as simple as flying a kite.
Eventually, she decided she had watched enough. Opening the window, she called across the yard, “You need a piece of tail.” She was talking about the kite, of course: a little extra stability might finally keep it airborne.
But her husband turned toward her with a confused expression. As far as he was concerned, this advice required some clarification. “Make up your mind,” he said. “Last night, you told me to go fly a kite.”
